The 2025 Poets’ Calendar is guest-edited by volunteer members and is very often themed. The theme for the 2025 calendar is “shine." Poems may shine a light on something, shine into a dark corner, capture the brilliance of an experience, relationship, place, or anything. A brass doorknob. Your vinyl LP. The epiphany you had the first time you did something hard. A crow’s view. The afterglow of a mopped floor. The way you love. 217 Wisconsin poets, including a former Wisconsin poets laureate, have poems in the calendar.

This year’s editors were Jeanie Tomasko, Linda Voit, and Beth Ann Workmaster. Artwork gracing the cover and interior of the calendar is by Sharon Auberle of Sturgeon Bay. Sharon has a passion for color, beauty, and experimentation in her painting and photography and about fifty years’ experience in the joy of doing it. Sharon is a former poet laureate of Door County. The photograph on the cover is called "Green Day."Wendy Vardaman handled design and layout.
