Cento on Becoming Unbutterable

Dear friends in my phone,
I am purring very loud because I love all of you.

There were so many birds outside this morning. I couldn’t even say hi to all of them
All the wet shoe smells make me all hyped up
I waited patiently for breakfast and washed my own face
I have been thoroughly cleaned with a wet towel.

Lots to get done today, but I’m a little tired already
I underestimated the momentum of my cavorting
I got so much exercise from zooming around cheering this week
Now I’m laying still just listening
I try to set realistic expectations for myself.

FYI, I think most of us are confused all the time. It’s not just you.
If you make a mistake, so what? You never think mean stuff about me when I make a mistake
This is a great day for Jean’s advice: Keep your conscience clean and your claws sharp.
Skip Applebee’s and eat the rich
Please discuss your wages with your coworkers
Jean says it’s not a “dog whistle” if everyone can hear it
We never outgrow being precious and worthy of protection.

I still don’t understand how any of this happened
The world is full of tenderness, not always where we expect to find it
I hope our dreams are so comfy that we make sleepy biscuits

P.S. So tired, but also: m o t h
